Invite Jay and his bicycle-built-for-two to speak to your group

Jay would be honored to throw his shiny blue tandem bicycle (the same color as the book) into the back of his mini-van and come to your church, school, bookstore, camp, VBS site, or place of business. Once Upon a Tandem is a great read-aloud for any age or any group at any point in their faith journey.

Depending on the facilities, age of attendees, size of group, and time allotment, the custom presentation can include any of the following:

  • Tandem bike rides
  • 10 minute high-energy book reading
  • Follow up application message of 5 to 30 minutes
  • Powerpoint presentation of all 39 illustrations from the book
  • Clear presentation of the Gospel
  • Easy-to-understand comparison of the theological terms "justification" and "sanctification"
  • The song, "Once Upon a Tandem," performed on piano or keyboard by 24-year-old professional musician Alec Payleitner.  Plus, other worship, praise or contemporary songs.
  • Q&A Session
  • Book signing

Expect a high-energy customized presentation for any age -- from 5 years old to teens to adult.  Jay can provide a keynote address to a large men's group, an inspirational challenge to 20 teens around a campfire, or a delightful short presentation under a tent to mesmerize kids during your VBS program.

The lessons of Once Upon a Tandem are also perfect for your next leadership conference. Surrendering our lives, families, ministries, and businesses to Jesus is the first lesson of Servant Leadership.

Hopefully your budget can include a reasonable speakers honorarium and travel expenses.  (But we can work something out.)
